Armycamp.gr have a wide range of official uniforms, shirts, sweaters and caps which meet the standarts of Greek Army with patterns that fits perfectly Greek bodies. Our clients are military staff, policemen, firefighters, quard prisoners, municipal policemen and security guards.

The objective

Our client wanted an attractive and engaging design for their website. They also needed an excellent solution to manage their eshop’s catalog, products and orders. We decided to use NopCommerce 3.3 to create the eshop as our shopping cart of choice.

Website Design

We created a responsive design using the Twitter Bootstrap Framework. E-Shop Design is optimized for search engines according to S.E.O. principles. Achieving a high ranking position in search engine results stems from the design itself.We also had to incorporate sliders and carousels into the theme that were necessary for the unique look and feel of the site.

Eshop’s Development challenges

       The client had all the information regarding products in .xls and .txt files and we had to devise a way to import this data to the eshop’s backend.

• Advanced shipping options

An important factor in SEO (as denoted by Google) is the site's speed. Having a good site speed also ensures better user experience. We looked into the core of nopCommerce and identified areas where we can improve the site's speed.

• Speed optimisation

We needed to develop more complex shipping scenarios that would incorporate the various parts of Greece and Europe including a more complex calculation logic regarding the items shipped to a number of destinations and the respective shipping discounts.
